📋 Course Details

Duration: 12 weeks per level (N5 to N1)
Fee: NPR 10, 000 per level (N5-N4)
Mode: Hybrid
Schedule: Mon-Wed-Fri, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Nepal Time)
Instructor: Mr. Kenji Tanaka (Native Japanese Speaker, JLPT Certified Instructor)

📝 Test Format

Listening: 30 mins, real-life dialogues and situational questions.
Reading: 60 mins, passages, kanji recognition, grammar in context.
Writing: 30 mins, sentence construction, short essays (N3+).
Speaking: Optional mock interviews with native instructors (N4+).

📊 Scoring System

JLPT has 5 levels: N5 (Beginner) to N1 (Advanced).

N5: Can understand basic phrases and expressions.
N4: Can understand everyday conversations and simple texts.
N3: Can understand moderately complex content in daily life.
N2: Can understand complex texts and conversations on various topics.
N1: Can understand nuanced Japanese in academic/professional settings.

Passing Score: Varies by level (approx. 90/180 for N5, 100/180 for N4-N1).

💻 Computer-Based Test in Nepal

JLPT is currently paper-based only in Nepal. However, we simulate computer-based practice tests in class using digital platforms to prepare you for future formats.

Results: Released in 6-8 weeks after the exam.
Test Centers: Kathmandu, Pokhara, Biratnagar (twice a year: July & December).

💡 How to Prepare for the Test?

  • 1. Start with Hiragana & Katakana — master them in Week 1.
  • 2. Build vocabulary daily using flashcards (we provide digital decks).
  • 3. Practice listening with NHK Easy News and anime (with subtitles).
  • 4. Join our weekly conversation circles to speak with native speakers.
  • 5. Take mock tests every 3 weeks to track progress.
  • 6. Focus on Kanji gradually — 80 for N5, 160 for N4, 650+ for N2.
  • 7. Review grammar patterns with our custom workbooks.
